Hey guys, my name is Dustin Baker I have been a loooong time lurker. I have been a member since 2006, when I was swapping an LS1/60e into my 88 GTU. I was on torquecentral, then V8rx7forum, and now norotors. I've been on LS1tech and their sister site Performancetrucks as well, not to mention countless other automotive/motorcycle forums.
Some general personal info
I'm currently 29, I work in a Carbon Black Plant as an Instrument Tech, I'm married (thankfullly to someone who doesn't mind my hobbies) and have one child. Love fast cars and cold beer. Just in case anyone has/does frequent other forums and cares to look into my background to make sure I'm a legit person, my handles have been: DustinB TooSlow5.3 Flatblack86 I feel like there is another that forgetting but its null point. I sold my FC some years back (to a guy in Alabama who eventually parted it out) and got into the truck scene for a while. I had a RCSB silverado with an LS1/T56 swap with a cam and the normal bolt ons which got sold because I got married and had my son and thought I had to build something with a back seat.
I recently ran across a local 95 RX7 with some minor front end damage and a terrible paint job for what I felt was a damn good deal so I jumped on it and am now back in the game.

Had some various aftermarket parts on it... radiator, intercooler, intake, greddy elbow, Apexi exhaust etc...
Needs a front bumper if anyone has an extra one for sale...

Initial build will be cam only LS3/th350 with a small amount of nitrous
Ronin Subfame and 8.8 kit
Full repaint (unsure if going back to MB or total color change to possible Chaste White)
HWL headlights
Mazdaspeed CF hood
15" Weld rts s71s polished with black centers
Black carpet and seats
I still have to collect a few parts but I am most of the way there. I can't explain how excited I am to get this project going. I have always wanted a FD, especially after building the FC. I'll try to get some pictures of it up if anyone is interested, maybe start a build thread.

Hello Dustin and welcome on board! Great to have you join us. Show us your RX7 when you have a chance. This forum really is a ton of help. With a little bit of research you can find an answer to all your questions.
