BC "NEWBIE ?" sort of.....

Hello to all you WANKEL loving freaks !
I am Terry. I have owned an 1981 Mazda RX-7....Brown with Brown cloth interior. This was my first introduction to ROTARY engines ( Previous Hot Rod and Muscle car FREAK ! ) But the smoothness and great performance and handling of this japanese car HOOKED me ! Then I bought a 1987 Turbo II ...not running for $1500.00. I Figured if I could get her running for cheap I did good. I got the car running Very easy and started TERRORIZING the town (Bremerton, WA) and the only competition was MUSCLE CARS. Thats when racing a 65' Mercury Comet on the highway and BANGING off the REV limiter...I Blew my 1st Rotary engine. What the hell..bought it NON running anyway (Broke APEX SEAL)...My wife had a GOOD time riding Shotgun !! So I went to ATKINS Rotary and Gave em' 2 motors to make 1 good one out of and Told em' KEEP THE LEFT OVERS. Got a GREAT motor from them ( I HIGHLY recommend ATKIN's Rotary..Dave and the crew are A+ !!!!). So now I have a new motor and all I have to do is hook it up right ???? Holy Crap!! Putting that motor in made working on my 1957 Chevy CHILDS PLAY ! It was TRUELY a learning experience and...I LOVEd IT !!!!! It ran like a RAPED APE !!! I had a 1972 SS Chevy El Camino that ran 12.78 1/4 miles @ 109 mph and this ROTARY could give it a run for its LIFE !!! I took it to a dyno and It layed down 230 hp to the rear wheels and 210 tq !! SWEET !!! Now I am a ROTARY COVERT and I LOVE TO SPREAD THE "GOSPEL of the Rotary ! AMEN my brothers and sisters...". Thanks for listening...PEACE OUT ! Terry
