Newbie from kentucky

Hi everyone I just got my first rx7. Its a 88 rx7 stock. Ive always wanted to try working on a rotary engine. Im a diesel mechanic by trade but I have messed with alot of imports and trucks on the side. Im also have a 87 mazda b2000 truck thats bagged on 17s and if everything goes good I plan on building a 13b to put in it. I would appreciate it if anyone has any pointers or suggestion on where I should start or do with this project. Thank you

Hello, and welcome to RX7CLUB. Sounds like a fun project. Being a diesel mechanic, you already have a head start. Good luck and I hope this forum is of good use to you.

Lol yeah cant wait. Got to fix a few things first on it. I know its got a bad u joint thats a easy fix but the issue I think I am going to have problems with is it wont idle on its own then once you keep it running for a few minutes it then dies out.
