newbie, hi all.

hi my name is jonny, i live in the uk, york to be precise, i have been recommended to be on this forum by a few people, apparently its really good for some advice on rotaries.

i am only a young one (19) and i am on my first rx7 which is an fd3s series 6, i have had the car for 8 months now and it started or standard when i bought the car, it had done 105,000km with out a rebuild and me not knowing a massive amount was a bit naive and bought the car, 5 months later i blew a water seal over heated and completely stopped working, it was a very sad moment for me.
however since then, when i was off the road i put a full bomex body kit lowered it on hks coil overs, spoiler 1 off, vented carbon bonnet, momo 282mm steering wheel, and momo gear ****, stage 2 hks 3" straight through exhaust, 18" axe 3 piece split rim alloys ( deep dish) and spent some money on 4 toyo proxes t1r's. and smoked the front indicators and put a vented head light cover on.

after i had completed this only 8 weeks after!! ( i supprised myself how fast i completed this) i have sent my car to hayward rotary 400miles from home to get a full rebuild with bridgeport, single turbo conversion ( garret gt35/82r), new fuel rail, fuel pump and 1680cc secondary injectors, apexi power fc , front mount intercooler, race radiator and full silicone and braided hose kit. will be running no boost controller to start with, just using wastegate spring, should be running around 0.6 to 0.7 bar boost and will be looking around 380-420rwhp. at the moment i am currently waiting on the completion and i only have pictures of the car when i put it up for sale shortly before i decided to get a rebuild so i dont have any pictures of the engine until i get the car back home, due to be completed 1st october. ( hopefully).
i dont use the car every day, my daily drift is a 1 ltr citreon ax that cost me £140 approx $200, i will be going to my girl friend when she passes her test and hopefull putting an N/a 13b in it for her b'day, will take alot of time i understand, but its just an idea at the moment, want to concentrate on my car first though.
i want to get my car on a track to learn to drift or just general track days ( think i may buy a ae86 or an olt bmw to learn to drift in) my rex i think is just to precious to learn drifting in.
i dont do drag racing really, because i am a country boy and i like my corners too much and if i set my car up for drag racing its not ideal for the road i live on. ( stupidly bendy and yet very fast in stages, great fun( but scary on twin turbos, they are very unpredicable ) lol
will post some pics when i can for you all to have a look. ( kinda at work at the moment)

cheers

jonny
