OH NEWBIE From Columbus Oh

Hello, just recently aquired a 1988 Rx7, was looking for a car to play around with and drift, and found this one. Its not running yet but is in really nice condition. Its been sitting for 8 or 9 years in an indoor storage, has 75,000 miles on it, and is convertible non turbo. Has no rust, no distress marks or cracks in the leather, is 100% stock and non molested. This is the first rotary engined vehicle ive ever played with. I work in a machine shop and have been building custom vintage choppers at home for along time, as well as wrenching on everything you can pour gas into. Came to the forum to get some advice and to hopefully meet some good people. Thanks for having me

And i know that the car may have ridiculous problems becasue its been sitting for so long, ........totally not worried about it, i only paid 300 bucks for it, clean title and all, the guy didnt have plates on it and it was at his apartment complex and had to have it out that night or it was gonna be towed. poor guy lol

My names Jake, Definetly am excited about this forum, and very excited to say that last night i replaced the fuel pump in it, cleaned the plugs, and the car turned over about 2 revolutions and fired right up, it wasnt idling very well but i know that the secondary fuel rail(think its the secondary anyway) on top of the intake isnt getting fuel, i need to replace the vaccum operated fuel pressure regulator, its froze shut, THanks for the welcome, and guess considerin the deal i got it would be lame to complain that the radio doesnt work......... but it still sucks haha
