Newb from so cal
Hey everyone name is Scott, i do not currently own a rx7 but i am looking into buying a Turbo II by the end of Febuary if the loan goes thru in a few days if not, then getting a better job and saving up for it.

Plan B is the way to go, Scott, it truly is. As many will come out and here to say, taking a loan out on a 10 year old+ car makes no sense at all unless it's a true collectible and these cars aren't there yet. On top of that, there may be issues with the vehicle that end up driving costs higher, beyond the loan amount you took out, and you might be forced to sell at a deep loss.
That said, take the time to read up on the 2ndgen possible pitfalls so you are an INFORMED buyer when the day comes!

I not actually gonna take out a loan just for the car, it just left over money from my pell grant and a a small student loan. I got the estimate today so might buy a FD that needs tranny work wich i can rebuild myself. Thats if the guy still has it in Feb.
