Newb to the rotary world

Hey there, My name is Niko and my 89 rx-7 n/a reside in sweet home alabama...
Finally convinced the guy to sell me this car a few days ago after pestering him since my junior year in highschool..

paid $800 for this little girl...paints is faded with no clear coat left..has a black rag top and powder coated spoke rims. everything is bone stock that i can see...but she has been sitting for about 3 years....IN THE ELEMENTS.

the interior is in decent shape considering her age and the Stereo still works lol

over all i dont know to much about this vehicle yet, but im thoroughly excited to start this build in memory of my grandfather...we had just finished a 1971 RS/SS Camaro with 420 rwhp when her past away. so rebuilds are kinda a comfort zone for me

after all the needed restoration on the drive train, fuel system and electrical...i plan to beef her up with some power adders under the hood.

does anyone have any suggestions about which upgrades to do first or avoid??

thanks so much!
Niko

Verts are very slow and handle rather sloppy. Start with suspension and throw a beefed up turbo engine in!
