ON Newb

Hello, New guy from ON CND... Never owned an RX-7 but I plan on it with in the next 2-4 weeks. I have always been a Nissan guy but clean S13's are few and far between and I have always admired the RX-7. ....Anyway's getting to the point, I'm searching for the perfect donor car for my RB25 swap and any information I can get/gather about this, as I'm sure some one has been down this road and did it right, would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Brandon.

Welcome, Brandon!

There have been a few RB25 swaps done on here, but they aren't too common. Based on your sig, it looks like you are planning on using an FC for the swap, correct?

Cool. I look forward to seeing how the Nissan power plant works with the FC chassi. . . The one main drawback I could think of is what your weight distribution will be like with that heavy I6.

going to set the motor further back into the chassis and modify the firewall to help correct weight issue better along with a good suspension set up with a 4 corner balance and alignment should be enough to make up for the minor inconvenience. alot of hard work and broken knuckles will be worth it i hope. and on a side note i found a jdm FD with very low compression and a decent price so i may end up grabbing it. going to see it this friday.
