15? RX-7? Turbo? Please tell me you've been racing go-karts since you were 12 or this story won't last very long.

Nonetheless, I applaud any set of circumstances that can bring a father and son together on a good old car rebuild project. Here's hoping my boy (11 yrs old) will soon get the car bug.

Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

15 and a 1994 RX-7, I never !!

Bought my first car when I was 15 "85 thunderbird" traded it for a shotgun and a fishtank. Bought my first rx7 when I was 16 "91 na all black" paid 2900 for it. Wish I could of had my FD when I was 16...

15! Wow. How does insurance work for you guys over there?

You have to be at least 25 over here to get decent quotes on insurance, if you're under 24 I've seen insurance as high as 3-4K a year!
