New to the wonderful world of rotarys
Hello all my names Dustin Aldrich and I've been a car guy for as long as I can remember old ones, new ones, trucks, cars and all lol. Anyway I'm from Canada and I have just came upon my first couple rotarys and first gen 12A out of an 84 I believe not exactly 100% positive on that, is there any way to tell exactly? I also have aquired a quite pristine 13B twin turbo from a 93-95 not sure. I've had a few cars myself but have been a Nissan guy for most of my tuning career, they've all been N/A cars and either been stolen or blown up. I have plans for building both the rotarys that I have, first I want to build up the 12A before the snow goes and drop it into my 91 240sx that I have sitting and collecting dust. The second plan is to build up the 13B over the rest of next year and do a new swap into the same car but I'm lookin for the big HP numbers from the 13B to make a fun race car. The only problem with these ambitious plans is the fact that I know nothing about rotorys but I have seen what kind of power you can create with them so I decided to be the sinner type and cross breed my Nissan with Mazda and see what kind of monstrosity I come up with. I'm glad I found this site because from what I've been reading so far there's tons of very knowledgeable people on here that have solved almost every possible problem or are willing to help you solve them. I will say thx in advance because I'm sure I'll be asking some questions here and there because I'm a rotary nOob!!
Glad to have found another great place for much needed info,
Dustin

Dustin, we're glad to have you! I just hope this doesn't mean that we're now going to see a whole bunch of FB's being stolen and blown up as you work on them!
