Hey guys!
I've been lurking around for quite a while here on RX7club. Even before I joined. I can't quite remember why I joined, but I think that photoshop extravaganza involving some overweight black woman had something to do with it.
Anywho, the only reason I know anything at all about RX-7s is thanks to RX7WEEE, who has been a friend of mine since high school where he owned around fifty million RX7s.
I own an FB, and an MR2, and as a complete package my FB is a better car. I can tell this after only owning it for a week. Perhaps on a track the MR2 would dominate on it, but on a twisty road, the FB has it beat.
It's a 1985 GSL-SE that I picked up from a coworker for $900. It's in great mechanical shape, and in pretty decent physical shape. Just don't look at the passenger side. Went backwards through a fence at some point and screwed some things up, but it doesn't look too bad.
Anyways, I'm glad to be here, and I can already tell that I've been bitten/poisoned by the Rotary Virus. It's insane. I love everything about it. I'm sure I'll get tired of emptying my wallet every few hundred miles here shortly, but as of right now I simply don't care.
Here's to a great community and the most pure and simple sports car I've ever driven!
