Hello All!

I'm Greg, from Ny.

I recently picked up a 88 white vert w/ 80k.

I LOVE IT.

I'll share more about myself in the future. I think I'm bit with the mod-bug right now...

I want to install a spring/shock combo on the car and would also like to upgrade the wheels.

Any thoughts on these?

Rec's for suspension?

I also drive a acura.

Will share more soon, passing out now!

-Greg

If you have a Vert and it came with the BBS vert wheels then anything else is going to be heavier than what you have.
Those wheels are only like 13 pounds per wheel.

Welcome on board, Greg! Congrats on your Vert, show it to us when you have a chance. A lot of good info here regarding mods in case you are thinking of doing any. Check out some of the garages and you may get some ideas. Good luck with all your plans and keep us posted!

Thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it.

So, I have had some maintenance done to the car and I'd like to share the receipt. I hope I didn't get taken too bad.

Well, now the car is smogged and ins/reg'd in CA and I'm super excited to not "live in the rearview" anymore.

What I've noticed now are three things that I'd like to remedy (if poss).

The car does not like to go from 1st gear to 2nd gear when I first start driving in the morning. It does however slip into 2nd from a stop but I do not like doing this. After about 10 minutes of driving, shifting is smooth.

I think a strut is blown, I'm getting a bit of a bounce. I'm not sure if I should just have the one strut replaced or go with a full shock/strut combo..

The radio does not work, it turns on but no sound comes out. I have not checked any fuses or attempted at pulling the pioneer headunit out from from the dash.

I'm interested in modifying this car - exhaust, suspension, headlights/fogs.

Thank you so much again for your welcoming me to the club!
