Not sure why I've never been on this forum. I like forums and this one seems way more active than most these days. I've been road racing RX7's with SCCA for about ten years, though recently the cars have been sitting since I have another race car atm. One is a yellow 81 and the other is a gray 82, both set up for IT7.

I had a 1991 Spec Miata with same yellow color scheme that I raced in the SE region of the country.

Welcome, ideally I'd love to set my FC up for SCCA style racing also. Who does your cage work as I'm also from STL, and will eventually need one. I've talked with Scott from Izzy's Cages before but I believe he's strayed away from cage work. I've seen the grey one somewhere a long while ago.

 

I didn't build either car. I don't know of anyone building cages for other people right now in the area since Izzy isn't doing it. A few people have tried to tackle their own but that's more work than a lot of people can or are willing to do. Both of these cars are available, btw.
