Hello Everyone,
Name is Dave Funston. I'm a big fan of the RX7, especially the FD. I'm here to look around and learn as I'm thinking about adopting one of these fine machines for my own.
Looking forward to attending some meets and wrapping my head around this awesome car!!
Currently driving an E90 M3 Sedan.... Mmmmmm V8. Though lease is up next month. I'll be looking for something used and in the <$10k range. I'll keep everyone updated on what I do... but I'll also be posting a few times so that I have permission to view the classifieds area!!!

Sound advice, Dave! Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome to RX-7 Club! A month's time may be pushing the learning curve a bit but head to the New Member tech boards where the topic of what to look for and ask about in regards to buying the FD has been covered a couple of times.

Thanks guys!! I took some pics of the M today for a last ditch effort to sell it and make some bucks.... tear....
I hear you on the Sub 10k FD's. I found some more in the 13 to 15k range and they were stock, looking fairly nice. We'll see how it goes!!
Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Welcome to the forum and yeah, spend a little more to get one in good shape. I found a insane deal on a rx7 but it needs a fair bit of work. Realistically its going to be 6months-1yr before I can actually enjoy it. But it all depends what you want out of it, I wanted the project/challenge and will reap the reward later.
