CA New from San Francisco.

Hey all, names Tarek, but i go by T. Iv been a miata guy for the past 4 years now and recently got a 83 FB.

ill start with some pictures of my Miata cause we all love pictures

on to the Fb

A guy at a shop down the street from where i work had this 83 sitting that needed some work he got it from a lady that let it sit for ~15 years the paint is half decent. no major dents nor rust. engine runs and the interior is shot except for the dash.

so far, new tires, new clutch, new master brake cylinder, new clutch slave, idler bushings, fixed the oil leak of death and resealed the oil pan.

im currently working on the carb reason being that i got it on the rollers at my buddy's smog shop but couldn't get it to pass.

The miata gives me no problems at the track what so ever. check the oil and go out and flog it lap after lap with no problems.

I haven't been able to drive the 7 much, maybe 50 miles total but its a lot of fun. Its going to be my DD for a while once i get it all finished up because the miata needs a fresh engine...

Good idea, they are great cars in stock form, with little mods they are even more fun to drive. Please keep us posted on your build.
