Not new to Mazdas but new to classic sports cars and rotary engine. Before May this year I have never owned a car that was more than seven years old. Modern technology has its advantages but I found myself drawn to older cars with a lean body style and less features. After acquiring a 1993 MX-5, I drive it daily and feel that it suits me better than my newer cars. During my online research about MX-5s, I came across praises about the RX-7. After consulting a rotary enthusiast, I was able to determine that an SA would be the pure driver's car that I desire. I checked ads locally and found a 1979 GS in good enough condition for my budget. It is intact but somewhat neglected. Parts are arriving and I spend a few hours every evening installing piece by piece... Hopefully it can become my other daily-driver.
