Hey all I recently purchased my first rx7. It's always been a dream car if mine and after almost 20 years of trying I got one. My daily is a e60 535i and I just sold my e36 m3 to buy a fb rx7. The rx7 needs some work but is in fairly good shape with only 83k on it.
Congratulations on your new RX-7 and welcome to the forum! The car looks to be in good shape overall, with no major dents or rust that can be seen from the pictures. The instrument cluster fading is normal on cars that have sat outside and were not garage kept. You can find another cluster and replace the backing. Do you know any of the car's history?
Sunbeam Silver Metallic is the color. It appears the car is an S trim level, which is the base model. Those lacked the following items from the GS: power mirrors, hatch light, windshield sunshade, halogen headlight bulbs, remote hatch release, driver's foot rest, map light, glove box light, and driver's door lock light. But its the lightest version and the most simple version. I really love the S models. I've had a few over the last 25 years of owning RX-7's and I enjoyed them more than the GSL that I had at the time. I loved how bare bones they were. I built one into an autocross/daily driver. Anyways, I'm getting off course..
