New to RX7Club

Hi Everyone,

I just joined the RX7 Club. I have a 1986 Mazda RX-7, base model. I plan on restoring the car as well as upgrading the engine, trans., and drivetrain to squeeze every last bit of horsepower, torque, and performance out of them. I joined the club to gain as much knowledge as possible on RX-7's, rotary engines, and to see what others have done to their RX-7's. This will give me ideas of what I can do to/want to do, to my RX-7. Also, if I can help anyone out w/a problem, I will try. Furthermore, with technology, the internet and the millions of parts stores out there selling RX-7 parts, selecting which company to buy certain parts from can be tedious and overwhelming. Any info on which manufacturers/ companies that are reputable and who know their RX-7 stuff and are worth buying from and those to stay away from would be greatly appreciated. The same criteria would apply to any books or websites w/info on RX-7's that would be beneficial to me.

thanks,

Tyler
