New Rx7 Owner!!! A bit about me.
Hello
My names Robert, I am a new Rx7 Owner. I bought a White 1985 GSL SE Rx7 with 114 000 km from a docter where I was studying. I am back home now, and brought the Rx7 back with me. It is in mint condition, and is only my hobbie car, so I don't drive it daily.
I am working full time right now, not in the field I want too, but I have flexable hours, so I am able to commute and have time off to experiance a bit of life. I am planning to work in my field in a bit.
I'v always wanted to get an Rx7, but being in school/working, and having no where to store the car, I held off, intill I was ready to care for another car, also insurance is rough for two cars at my age.
A little about the Rx7:
I had to tune the car to get it running perfect, spark plugs, air filter etc. It is running very strong, and I am hoping to port it in the winter, to give it some extra power, maybe do a Turbo II swap, but I am not sure yet, and it would be a good learning experiance. I know how to rebuild cylinder engines, and pretty much do anything myself, but I never worked on rotory engines, so I am excited to learn as much as I can. I have a cousin that owns a performance shop, and he only works on rx7's so if I need help, I can always turn to him.
The interior is mint, its that retro red colour, which Im loving, and under the car is very good aswell, the docter who owned the car never drove it in the winter, and it'll stay that way aslong as I own it.
I think I covered enough, if anyone has question, go ahead and ask, I'm sure some of you will see me around the forums from now on
Thanks
Robert

Good grief. It's even raining GSL-SE's in the frozen North. We have had a slew of guys joining that have got SE's...that is freakin' great! I just wish I could score an affordable one here in the Metroplex!
Welcome aboard, Robert! The more 1stgen folk who join, the better!

Thank you mar3, I don't know anyone else with a GSL SE, but it is a damn fine car. I guess those of us that have one, are lucky to get our hands on them I think I'v seen you around posting, I have been reading Rx7club for a while, just never made an account, thought it was time after I actually got an rx7!
