Hey all! I just recently bought my first Rx7!





Shes a 1986 base model. A little rough around the edges but pretty clean for the most part!

If anyone has any advice they would like to give a new Rx7 owner im all ears.

Congratulations on your Car! Looks really clean!
I'd say do a nice detail on it and get a coat of wax on the paint to bring back some of the nice factory sheen.

For mechanical advise, do your oil changes religiously, add oil when needed(since it will naturally burn some), do your spark plugs if they have not been done recently, and just general maintenance that you should do for any new used car you purchase.

 

Very nice! I suggest using 2-cycle premix with your gas and check your engine oil every time you hit the gas station. There's a price to pay for having something so special.
