KY New to Rx7 club- Have pictures of my 86 FC

Hello my name is Matthew Russell. I am 17 years old from a small town in Kentucky. I have had a growing fascination with rx7s, mostly third gen FDs, for a while now but could never really afford one. I actually remember hearing about rotary engines and how wierd they are to work on when I was younger and just decided I wanted a car with a rotary engine. I never imagined my first car would actually have one but I guess some wishes come true. I worked at a tire shop this summer (2010). I saved every bit of my money making $9 an hour at my first job. I honestly didnt spend a dime and looked on craigslist every night looking for rx7s and never found a single one close to me that wasn't a first gen. Which IMO is very ugly. Then close to the end of summer I had about $1500 and found this silver second gen that looked amazing and I called the guy about it and he wanted $2500 which is less than I expected. So in the next week or so the guy calls me back telling me to come get the car for $1500 because he needs the money. I get my dad to take off work to drive over to Fort Campbell, Ky to check it out. I got there and fell in love with the car the second I saw it. It needed a lil work but that made me love it even more. He lemme test drive it and I was amazed at the throttle response and power output for that naturally aspirated engine which kinda made me not wanna get it. But about 30 minutes later I was driving it home =). Still runs strong, only had to replace a throwout bearing because of a squeeky clutch.

I have fixed the white paint on the sides of the car so its all the same color now. It has XXR wheels and Kumho AST tires, K&N intake with metal tubings, Full Stainless Steel Racing beat true dual exhaust, white face gauges, hood off a turbo II, all racing beat suspension, no power steering or AC, 5 speed transmission =), and it runs amazing. Although I'm probably forgetting something. I put royal purple oil and the temperature gauge doesnt even move now. Since then I replaced all the gear oil in transmission and rear end with royal purple. Wash and wax almost twice a week. I love this car. I will enjoy being on this forum and I hope everyone gets along with me =). Thank you for reading.
