I'm new to these forums but not a new RX-7 owner.I have a '91 RX-7 R1 with less than 42k original miles on it and is mostly stock. Unfortunately because of the weather here in Oregon it spends a good amount of time in our garage parked.

 

All well and fine, Sir, but in an "Introduce yourself" thread, we are only casually interested in your vehicle since you're supposed to be introducing YOU.

So, what's the name and what made you go rotary?

I got introduced to rotary when my father handed me the keys and title to the car many years ago with the only demand being to keep it as stock as possible. I am a software engineer in the silicon valley and don't really have time to do mods on cars though I have been toying with the idea for a while. I might buy a '91 touring RX7 and mod that and leave the R1 completely stock.

There, is that enough of an intro?

He basically did that for his own reasons and not to be generous... he was going through a divorce and wanted to make it so the car didn't get sold as an asset.
