New to RX7 Club
Dupre. I'm in SE Georgia and am attempting to help a friend, with no mechanical skills, fix his 1987 RX 7's with my very limited skills. As I am new to RX7's and blogging I solicit your patience and understanding. As I understand the rules I'll need 5 posts before I can start looking for parts. Let the games begin!

Dupre, this is the first time in the 4.5 years I've been working the new member moderated board where I have seen such truth, I am compelled to bend our rules. You're not helping yourself, your trying to get yer buddy on the road, a buddy with no clue whatsoever how to get there. That's what it's all about and it's what I miss most now that all of us gearheads have moved so far from each other...everyone's got family now and a million excuses and the cars suffer....me, too when I think about it.
happy hunting and let's see some progress pics as things move along.
Welcome to RX-7 Club...who knows, you may end up getting that car.

Welcome to the board. DC5Daniel and I are from the same section of GA and would be happy to lend a hand if you're in the general area during the little down-time we have.
Out of curiosity, what issues is this RX7 experiencing?

New here myself and not too far off either. I'm like your friend...except I'm looking to get an FC with not much mechanical experience.
Been a fan of rotaries for a long time and have been "somewhat" familiar the issues of keeping one on the road, but I figured if I'm serious about buying one, this would be a great place to get up to speed.

Looking for parts
I am in the process of fixing up a 1987 RX7 and am trying to locate a replacement for a fuse panel. The panel in question is mounted in the engine compartment above the left front wheel (as seen from the driver's seat) and is made of a black plastic material. The panel 6 fuses with the fourth from the top marked as "Main" and rated at 80 amps. All the fuses save this one plug in and pull out. The "main is held in on either side by bolts which anchor the fuse blades in place. Any suggestions where a new guy can search? Thanks Dupre
