Hello all, currently getting into the RX7 platform as it greatly interests me for things such as autox and mountain driving. Currently saving up to get an FC project as I planned on doing a rebuild on any one I get to familiarize myself with the rotary beyond blueprints and diagrams.

 

Welcome. Hope you find yourself a project soon. FCs seem to be getting tougher to find, but FBs are still out there, and pretty simple to work on.

 

Yeah so far ive only seen 1 FC that's not a convertible, but I've seen a few FBs within 500 miles for 1200-2500 that I debated as an easier jumping point.

 

I find that verts are the most common FC's out there right now. Owned one for 8 years and loved it. I've seen a few that have been turbo converted which made them perfect !

Thanks mate, im not opposed to a convertible, as whatever I get will be turbo converted anyways. My only issue with them is I can't find a definitive answer on if the handling suffers noticeably.
