OH New to the RX-7 world.......

The name's James. Recently made a purchase of an 87 Rx-7 5speed w/84.5k on it. I'm sure it was a good buy, but i have a couple questions... Is the 13b a good motor and are there any common problems with a rotary type engine? Any help/tips, etc would be greatly appreciated.

thanks. couldn't pass the deal up. a couple problems and DEFINITELY needs a good paint job - this one's orange peeling and running like a track star, but 1800 for this clean of a car is good in my book. i grabbed a haynes manual for it, but figured i'd ask the vets on here.

welcome! and this site has helped me fix all kinds of stuff aside from the haynes. I haven't even felt the desire to post or ask questions due to all the archived info. good luck with your new 7!
