Welcome.

Premix is when you add two stoke oil to the petrol tank at each fill. Stock the car has a oil metering pump that injects some oil from the sump into your rotor housings. This oil is burned off.

There are some reasons you would go premix.
-OMP can be expensive to replace. Premixing will have same effect, although it can be annoying to add oil everytime you fill gas.
-2 stroke oil is designed to be burnt. This means less carbon, etc.
-2 stroke oil will seep into the metal a bit more and help protect.
-2 stoke oil has said to lengthen life of an engine.
