Hi guys! I've been reading many many pages of material on the forums in preparation for the RX7 I just bought. For the last three years i've dealt with nothing other than the MKIII Supra and the 7MGTE. I finally broke down and got sick of blown head gaskets and rod knock so i got a car that can't have either one. It's a 1988 SE model with a 5spd. No clue when it was last ran but I assumed its bad (wouldn't turn over) so it's coming out and i'm currently working on gathering parts for my new engine. Hopefully in a little time i'll have a running NA-T car.

Wow, I feel for ya since I know all about those 7m motors. They suck *** and Toyota should own up to the head gasket problem. That would be the biggest recall ever though lol. Good luck with your new FD>
