wanting a Rx7 since I was about 13-15 yrs old, now @ 26 I am the proud owner of my first Rx7 its a
1988 13B non turbo Convertible (*ALL STOCK*). And I cant wait to personalize it.
I just tried loading like 10 picks taken today 13Oct08 but they all exceed the 250 jpeg limit. don’t know how to fix that I took the picks with my cell.
when ever it rains or car gets wet over night the carpets get soaked behind the two seats. so for my first lil job with the car I am taking the carpet out since it is the original one it is definitely stained and I will be replacing it as soon as I fix the water leakage problem. think I need a new convertible top.

Since I have no tools my work is limited. guess I will have to build my arsenal of tools as time passes...
had to put the carpet task aside, today while on my way to work my brake pedal became hard as a rock when I pressed on it, since this is my first time trying to do my own work I will have to give in and see a "real" mechanic to see what’s going on. this car is my Daily Driver so I cant take the chance of something going extremely bad and not having transportation.
I am new to VA "Fort Eustis area" so I do not know what near by shops are credible. A shop that knows about the Mazda RX7 family is what I am looking for.
what I really want is to be able to work with a knowledgeable person/shop on my car so that I can learn. this way not only can I save $$$ but I can build credit with a shop and eventually offer my help as well.
if any one can help me I would appreciate it

So I figured starting with replacing the convertible top for one that doesnt leak (water is getting on the floor and in the well in the trunk)...But then again I'm not sure if Ishould start with the motor first which also needs some attention...
so im asking those on this site for some help...........
where do you think I should start?
I have my own ideas of course just wanted some recommendations and to hear other more experienced opinions
