New rotary rocket on the road in KCMO
Hello everyone,
I'm 16 (almost 17) and I just got my red 1990 gtu 5 speed coupe on the road again. My dad and I found what we thought was going to be great first car on ebay about 2 years ago. We flew from KCMO to Phoenix, Arizona to pick it up.
Guess what? It made it nearly 25 miles before it overheated the first of about 10 times on the way back. Needless to say, we did not make it all the way and had to be towed the last 200 miles. That really sucked. But hey, I was 14 years old and I had plenty of time to fix er up. 2 years later we FINALLY got the beast on the road, and it runs great! I learned a lot about cars, rotary engines, electronics, and not crying when every plastic part broke from just looking at them!
