New rotary owner in Tennessee
Hey all, Patrick here. I have recently picked up (as in yesterday) a 1988 convertible rx7. After being intrigued by rotaries for years I finally get to say I own one. She is not perfect but I followed some "buyer's guides" online and everything seems to check out so far. Gauges in proper tolerances, no mystery leaks, no oil sludge in coolant, etc, etc. The body is surprising straight (I'd give it a 95-95%) so luckily most of the work is going to be minor cosmetics and so interior refreshing.
The me side of the post:
I am over-educated and underpaid after spending too long in school after a stint in the Army. Computer and network security is the field I in. In addition to constantly mucking about with computers I find time guitar or bass, maybe some video games, working on my non-driving project car (not as much or as frequently as I should and for the curious she is another odd specimen: 1980 factory injected Fiat Spyder).
Hope this posting is enough to suffice and I look forward to learning from and sharing experiences with the folks of this community.
