Hello all, my name is Derek and I recently became the proud owner of an 87' N/A RX-7. I am an Air Force vet currently living in Orange Park, FL. I grew up around Japanese cars (I lived in Japan for 9 years, father was in the Air Force too) and the 7 has always been one of my favorites. I got my RX-7 from a guy who got cancer in his leg and can no longer drive a stick. He is the original owner, and I could tell he loved the car. But after letting it sit in his garage for 6 years, he had to let it go. And that is how I got an FC3S with a 105,000 mile, one owner, body and interior in great shape, original sales invoice and promotional literature included, base model with only the necessities (which means less weight, and less electrical problems), 1987 RX-7 for... $500. I think anyone here would agree that that is a hell of a deal, even though it is basically just a shell since that motor is dead. Anyways, don't want to make this too long, so I'll leave it at that.
