New Rotary enthusiast from The Netherlands
Hi guys, my name is Geert.
After some lurking without an account I finally decided to register.
I have a background in two-stroke tuning and I have owned, built and tuned several small engined (mostly turbo) cars. These interests combined probably triggered my interest in Rotary engines a few years ago.
After finishing some projects I'm finally able to take on something new, currently I'm searching the web for a 12a or 13b n/a that could use a rebuild. With my experience in twostroke engines I hope I can pull of porting it myself.
The car it needs to go in probably isn't going to be a rx-7 or even a Mazda. It's probably going to be a Opel C Kadett (Holden Gemini for the ozzy's on here) or something way older that's light and has rear wheel drive. Even been thinking of building a ''rotorboat'' out of the steel boat my grandfather built about 50-60 years ago. But main goal is to find a nice old car.
Really hoping to learn a lot about these wonderfull engines on this forum.
Cheers!
