New to the rotary community
Hi all, Dave here, currently living in Norfolk, VA.
I am currently driving a Mazda Miata, but have been bitten by the rotary bug.
I can't afford a newer rx7, so I've decided to swap a rotary into my miata.
I joined here for the massive amounts of technical knowledge available.

welcome im from Chesapeake but live in South Carolina at the moment. There is a shop called Angel Motorsports in the Great Bridge area the deal with only rotarys. look them up on facebook. they are cool people.
I talked to a couple of the guys from angel on the 21st of last month, there was a local car show. They like my plan for my swap, and are willing to tune for me (only difficult part for me).
I should start a build thread here, But I am going to really be pushing the thread on miata.net, as I spend a lot more time on there.

I did a 13b carb swap on my 94 NA, now I bought the whole swap from a parred outlet Miata. So it was a little easier however I ran into problems with the oil pan, I had a billet oil pan wouldn’t fit because of the rack and pinion so you can use the PS gear you’ll need a manual, I used the v8roadsters subframe as that is the best one but maybe you can modify the mounts to allow better fitment, trans was a half fc half Miata so I didn’t have to modify the driveshaft and keep the Miata rear.
