IN New to Rotaries

Hey all, my name's Travis, and I'm from Indianapolis, IN.

Tomorrow, I will be the new owner of a '93 FD3S ( 1993 Mazda Rx7 $9,500 Or best offer - 100526425 | Custom Import Classifieds | Import Sales )

I have never owned a rotary, but have always had my eye on the FD ever since I became a car enthusiast a long time ago. I realize it has a rebuilt title, and needs some work, but I am trading it for a car with a rebuilt titled car in need of more work than I can take on at this time

If anyone has any sound advice, or personally knows anything about this car, I would love to hear it.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I only managed to take one picture myself, but I will post more once I get the chance to take some on my camera, not my phone.

My only pic after she was finally loaded and ready to go home

A couple pics from previous owner

Initial plans:
Replace radiator / fans
Metal door latches
Replace windshield
New Wheels

Thanks! So hard to believe this car is 20 years old

The driver side door handle was broken, typical. So I already ordered metal door handles.

Also, the radiator has a slow leak and needs to be replaced as well as the fan.

Other than that, it seems like a damn solid car

It was actually a pretty fair trade The car came with a Kentucky title. As far as insurance, I have never really had issues insuring a car with a rebuilt title.

Thanks for the kind words! I haven't had the chance to drive it yet unfortunately, but as soon as I get the fans installed and take her out, I will def. monitor the temps. Can't wait to actually try this thing more than moving it onto a trailer lol.

Update:

Test fit the Lowenharts (needs more low, and bigger rear tires imo, but at least they fit )

Also, installed the Koyo, and replaced the plastic door handles with metal Rotary13b1.com door handles

Soon enough I will finally be able to drive this thing
