NC New owner in the making.

Hello everyone,

My name is Sean, I live in Fort Bragg, NC and I am a soldier in the United States Army. Currently I am deployed in Afghanistan, but on my rotation home as we speak. Between me and my wife we decided that we need a second car and that I should pick something I wanted. I have been looking at RX7's for a couple years now, and now that we have the money it looks as though it becoming a reality. I found a very nice FD3S. I am paying for the car in two to three days, and then my wife and a friend are going to pick it up. So my homecoming present will be my new RX7! YAY! I don't have all the specs readily available now, but be absolutely sure that as soon as I make it home, and after getting some much needed down time with the family. I will get a full spread of photos and specs for everyone's enjoyment. I am glad to be coming into the RX7 and Rotory scene as I have been a fan for a while. I found this forum on google and I am extremely happy with what I see here. When I was looking for a forum I wanted somewhere with like-minded, good-natured people who I could relate with, and who I could get advice from. Thank you all, and I look forward to being a part of this community.

Thank you, I believe that I will indeed absolutely love my FD. I am so excited about it, I should be paying for it now either tonight or tomorrow, and then my wife and a close friend will be picking it up the next day. That friend is a mechanic like myself, so he is going to inspect the car and drive it home for me...and then of course let me know how awesome it is. Darnit! I should be home in under a week and a half, so then I get to have fun! YAY!

yeah man rx7's are pretty awesome cars. what impresses me with them is the amount of ingenuity mazda puts into the car its self. however keep in mind owning one of these cars, LMAO, is like have a child. loads of responsibility. just use this site, read your manual, learn your car, and prepare for some good times.

God bless you for your time served, and your wife for standing by you.

So it turns out that the guy selling it was fraud. I asked him to set up a time to have my wife go look at it, and he kept ignoring it. You know, I wanted to actually have eyes on before I purchased. Well I googled the guys email address and turns out that cars for sale at ridiculously low prices all around the country have that same email attached to them. So like I said pretty much sure it is fraud. Does anyone know who I can talk to about this, or report him to. Thankfully I am smart enough to know not to send money to some guy without protecting myself first, but other people may not realize. So I would really like to do something about this.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that. On the positive side, at least you didn't pay anything yet!! Keep looking, there are clean FDs out there for the taking. I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but Viking War Hammer is selling his white 435RWHP FD right now on eBay. Good luck man, don't give up!!

Just passing through KAF actually. On my way home. Still looking around, I really had my hopes up about the 7. There is an FC I'm looking at still, but I may just sit back and stay out of the game a little longer, and wait to find the right car for me. Maybe wait and get my true dream car.
