CT new owner of a 93 rhd rx7

hey guys, my names mac, i just turned 18 and ive been dreaming of owning an fd rx7 forever. yesterday i found a great deal on a 93 right hand drive widebody shell so i picked it up for 2500 . i own a 98 ls1 camaro that ive been building a 6.0 for so im planning on swapping that into the fd instead for my senior project in highschool. and no. my parents dont pay for any of it i cant wait to get started on it and i hope to find alot of the parts im looking for in the classifieds. i know ill probably get knocked for not havin a rotary but it came without a motor and i happend to have all the ls stuff ready to go. but thanks for reading let me know what you think!

Welcome, Mac!

Sounds like a good project to me. I like rotors myself, but what you have probably makes sense to go that route. I also like to see young guys be responsible and pay their own way on things like this, so kudos to you.

Only thing that I wonder is if it will be legal to be driven in the US when you are done. Does it have a CT title/registration? It may have been brought in from Canada or something. If it was a LHD that was converted to RHD, then you should be okay.

Welcome bro. Super jealous right now. I was actually considering buying the shell, but you had purchased it a few days before I had even seen it. Grats on the new project and hope it works out! Keep us posted on how it comes along.
