New from over the pond in the UK
Hi, my name is Michael, after setting my heart on an RX-7 i decided to learn from past mistakes and join a forum before I purchased a car.
My two previous endeavours (of which I still own both) are a '77 Mini and a '90 MX-5.
The mini is currently a long term project nearing the end, involving turbo-charging the original 998cc engine.
The MX-5 was bought by accident off ebay after assuming someone would outbid me, 3 days later and no bids I won a standard eunos v-spec for under £1000.
some Japanese shocks and lowered springs later its not horrendous looking, but I'm after something more interesting.
My hunt for a 'tastefully molested' RX-7 has brought me here, to look for buyers tips and tricks and the classifieds. I'm after an FD or FB leaning heavily towards the FD presently, something along the lines of this:
