That's awesome. My search is going pretty well, I'm just getting a feeling for what's out there and what kind of prices are reasonable. I've been looking strictly at FB's, but now I've turned my attention to SA's (like your '79) because I like the vivid colors that were available for those early ones. I'd love to see pictures of yours!

Well, I got it! It's a red 1983 RX-7 FB. 148,000 miles on it, no rust, bought it from the 2nd owner who only had it for a couple of months.

It runs pretty nice, but I need to put a new shutter valve in and I think it needs a new alternator belt because I have heard some ear shattering squealing. It's a great car overall though, and I'm really happy!
