My name is Jeremiah Worker. My friend and co-workers call me JD. I am from NM and have been a long time FC fan. The looks and the chassis are awesome. I just recently picked up an 87 FC N/A. It will be my Drift Machine. I am undecided on the engine, N/A 2 or 3 rotor built or a v8 conversion. The outside will recieve a NOT uber wide, wide body kit. 15x8 front and 15x9 rear MSR Hellaflush wheels and 16" and 17" whatever works for track abuse. The interior is on its way to being gutted and I am planning on running a sheet metal dash. It will be caged by my frienid that owns a fab shop and several FC's and a wicked nice FD with an LS swap.

LOL. like I said. Been an FC Fan for quite some time now. The engines are the biggest mystery to me and also the the 2nd biggest draw. I understand the theory of how they work and can see it in my head. such and eligantly simple design with such power potential. Now I need to decide if I want to dable or stay safe and go V8 seamings how its a race car and all.

 

Welcome to the forum, I am also in New Mexico in Clovis. I have an 88 FC and am in the process of a rebuild and paint job, if it was me I would stay with the 13b, but thats just the purist in me, I think that once you put a V8 in it it's no longer an RX7. 13B means 50/50 weight distribution for drifting and not to mention the sound of the engine. Anyway welcome and I look forward to seeing your build.
