Hello!

Quick intro: Wanted an RX8 for past two years, shadowed the RX8 forum for the past year. However an active Army lifestyle kept me from getting one because it would be difficult to maintain while on duty.

Ran into a 1985 RX7 GS with a great running 12A engine for $300. When I bought it, it had a smashed driver side window and a stolen wheel [so running on spare].

Awesome car and a tons of fun to drive! I just gave its brakes a overhaul, replaced rotors, calipers, brake shoes and cylinders, brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, and clutch slave. Driver side front caliper was seized shut before I changed it . Just swapped a driver side door yesterday for the window. Getting a replacement OEM wheel this weekend. The car is a pain in the *** to work on but a lot of fun.

Hopefully two years and K of parts later [including transmission and engine rebuild & port], it will be a fun dream machine and weekend motocrosser! Stay tuned. Sorry for the bad pictures, I took it in my garage which isn't very large or ideal for photography.
