Hello rotary fans, I'm Regan Westlund from Olympia, Wa and I own an '88 RX7 GSL-SE. I'm stoked to become a part of this site, even though I've had my account since last year when I got the car, my first 7. Anyway, don't really know what else to say, so I'll continue with my new member process. Looking forward to becoming a better member!

You either have the year wrong or the trim level wrong.
First Gens were available between 1979-1985 and had trim levels of S, GS, GSL, and GSL-SE.
The Series 4 Second Gen was available between 1986-1988 and had trim levels of Base, Sport, SE, Luxury, GXL, and Turbo II.
