Hey!
I'm Chris. I've been on the hunt for an FD for 6ish months now and figure I'll be spending a lot of quality time on this forum (Honestly, I already have as there's a wealth of information on things like manual swaps, etc).
As such I don't currently have an RX7 to brag about, and I doubt you want to hear about my daily, so I'll skip that bit (Unless someone really wants to hear me talk about a bone stock Civic Si)
I used to be a pretty regular gearhead when I owned my previous cars, but since I bought new I've had nothing to fix. It's actually quite boring owning a reliable car
So part of my motivation in buying an RX7 is to have a second car I can tinker with again, without the whole "Oh hey I just broke a half shaft and can't get to work" part. Also I have a two car garage and it's got to be some kind of crime to not fill the second bay.
The other part is fulfilling that desire I've always had since I was young to own one. I've shopped around and looked at tons of other options, but nothing excites me quite like the FD for some reason.
Other hobbies include programming, building small electronics, destroying ICs while trying to build small electronics, and flying/crashing multirotors.
