New member from sunny Alberta
Hello there! The name's Brendan and I'm from south Calgary, Alberta. New to the forum and new to rotaries!
As of October, my project has been a 1984 RX7 GSL. It's an absolute blast to drive, and pleasantly light for work. There is little rust on the car, and apart from a carburetor that is begging to be rebuilt, it runs just fine now! I don't know what my plans for it are, I'm partial to a "restoration" to brand-newness, but a street rocket is also an enticing idea. Perhaps you have an opinion to share?
(I realize a picture is worth a thousand words, but I happen to be a few thousand miles away from my home; as well, it currently looks like any other bone-stock red FB.)
As for more personal introductions, I started working on cars when I was 14, when me and my friends pooled our cash and bought a beat-up S13. The year we got it running was also the year I learned to rebuild fences, pull vehicles out of ditches using a tractor, and perform simple bodywork. No project cars followed that one until the RX7 I'm working on now!
