Hey guys, my name is Steve. I'm newish to this forum, newish because I've actually had this account for three years but just haven't been on much. My friend might sell me his FC. He has a 1988 RX7 2+2 (he originally priced at $2500 but talked him down to $2000). It runs good, just gonna get the car checked out by Lucky 7 Racing in Duarte, CA. I'm not entirely sure if the motor has been rebuilt or not. He told me it has 147k miles on it. The interior is pretty clean, I think the dashboard is cracked but he has a dashboard mat on it. Exterior is clean, faded paint as you'd expect, a little bit of rust near the drivers side front quarter panel. I'm 26 Years old, I live in the San Gabriel Valley and I currently ride a Kawasaki Ninja 250r for when I wanna save gas. I know the RX7's don't get anywhere near good gas mileage. I know after doing maint. and fluid flush and all the recommended tutorial I read on a website said you can get 26mpg but thats after the tune up and if you shift under 3500rpm. Hopefully I can learn a lot from this forum! I'll let you guys know if I get this RX7 and a better condition report on it.
