New Member, ready to learn!
Hey everyone, my name's Peter Chan. Ive just recently purchased a 1994 Mazda RX7 PEP Package. I am still trying to learn and navigate through the site. Coming from an 01' Honda S2000 and the forum S2Ki. I've learned alot from the forum from its friendly and helpful members and also very well detailed 'DIY' posts. I was hoping to eventually find similar things here such as 'DIY'/How-To posts because I like to do little customizations/mods myself not only to save money, but also learn the car.
So far the car is stock, but from reading from other sites, my first modification decision may be mid-pipe/downpipe/exhaust, some sort of intake modification. I've read from two differ sites that it would be ok, and another saying is a bad idea unless I get a tune. So just a quick first question, would doing the whole exhaust system modification be overkill without a tune? Any info would be greatly appreciated, and Im looking forward to learning the forums!

Hey my name is Chase Mendoza, I'm new here aswell, I currently have no car but I have an rb20det from a skyline gts, just wondering if your 94 mazda rx7 feels like a good car to purchase? Because I'm debating an engine swap between the 91 fc3s and a Nissan 240sx. The only thing is I've seen the swap on a 240sx done already, but fewer in an rx7... So my question is, are you happy with your rx7 or is it giving you problem?? (not motor wise I mean) thanks

Nightshade, so far I havent gotten to drive it much so I couldn't really tell you. But Im pretty sure it would be a nice swap, assuming you wouldn't have to chop up the body too much o_O
Thanks Khmerkid.
