Hello all; I am located in Tucson, AZ. I own a 1983 RX7 GSL, and am trying to get it operational. I think it needs a carburator and the fuel tank needs cleaning since it has been in storage for about 3 years. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Juan.

First things first, dump the old fuel. There's a drain bolt in the bottom of the fuel tank you can remove.
You might be able to use the old fuel in a lawnmower or something. It also might be useful for cleaning grease off of car parts. Otherwise, just mix it in with old oil and turn it in for oil recycling at any auto parts store or your local waste management facility...
Disconnect the fuel lines at the carburetor and crank the engine until clear fuel comes out those lines... (It helps to have an assistant.)
Try and fire her up after that... Carburetors are not my specialty, so I usually send them out for rebuilding.
