Hello everyone!
I'm a new member to the forum and also a new owner of an '87 FC from southern Cali.
I'm not able to register it though. After picking up the FC and going to the DMV I realized the the VIN on the driverside door jam is not readable. Seems to be smeared off. Now the VIN on Pink slip matches what's on the firewall but I can't compare that to what should be on the Driverside Dash since there is no VIN Plate there.
It's been a few weeks now that I purchased it and the previous owner will not take the car back...

Another thing, it will not pass smog since the engine has been moded so how do I go about getting it registered?? I hope someone is able to help me out.
