Hello, people of the internets; specifically the rx7 peeps

My name is Dave, and I just saved a 1988 rx7 gx from being scrapped. Bought it for 250 cash.
I'm the 12th owner and its has a clean title so I guess thats good, and on to the bad.

Is been out to pasture since 2008 so there some problems like rust and rot
Interior is pretty much trashed
Didnt even bother to turn over the engine, I figured what gas that was left in the lines and tank has turned into a varnish goo and the motor oil is probably has the viscousity as sand.

Future plans are to v8 it and join the drift craze and crash it

Relevant previous car
1972 merc 380sel 200 dollar barn find, full rotisserie resto then I swapped in a 350 sbc and 700r4 trans because it wasn't fast enough (sold to finance going back to school years ago)

Present cars
1993 Volvo 940 turbo wagon sleeper: frankenengine with a big turbo, megasquirted with sequential injection, igintion mods and launch control. Will problably be the new summer DD when its converted to a 5speed from the modded original autotragic tranny (this car was also saved from been junked)
2000 Toyota Corolla: super hoopty econo Daily traffic seat and unkillable

Since the nickname of the Volvo is puff the magic wagon the ongoing joke with my fellow car nuts is coming up funny alternative definitions acronyms for my rx7;
Rust times seven
Roach/Rat eXpress
Ridiculous eXpenditure
And the list goes on
