New Member from Ontario, Canada
Hi,
My name is John and I am an RX-7 enthusiast. I live in London, Ontario, Canada (about half-way between Detroit and Buffalo).
I recently bought a 1984 RX-7 GSL SE at auction last fall from a well-known online site. It's Dover White with a red leather interior. I probably paid too much for it (although it was appraised for my full purchase price), but it is in museum-quality condition and I just couldn't resist. I am sitting here waiting for Spring to truly arrive and for the rain to wash the salt from the roads so I can start enjoying the car!
The attached pic is from my journey back to Canada after I picked up the car in Atlanta. This is the Welcome Center at the Alabama border in front of a Saturn V rocket.
In fact, I do enjoy watching polar bears drinking Coke, just not all the time. Hopefully I can get to the Toronto Zoo this summer and see the real polar bears (and the baby Pandas, too).

Thanks!
It snowed here yesterday and I'm pretty sure they salted the roads. Ugh!
At least it warmed up last night and started to rain heavily; hopefully that will get a jump on washing away the salt. And hopefully it will stay warm enough so they don't have to salt again.
How's the weather in Victoria?

I'm really hoping this is the week that Spring actually arrives and stays.
It is a nice FB. In the 1,000 mile trip from Atlanta to home it didn't give me any trouble.
Of course, the minute it found itself in new surroundings, it wouldn't start reliably and finally died at the detailing shop. Unfortunately, that was the day the appraiser came to look at the car. Luckily it was next to an auto shop that quickly diagnosed and replaced a faulty battery cable.

Thanks. I should be getting the car out of storage early next week.
Are there any RX-7 specific (or even Mazda) events or clubs in the London area at all?
