Hey guys my names Sam, Dont currently own an RX7 but I'm almost 100% positive im going to pick up a FD rolling shell this weekend! Pretty stoked, im getting it for a STEAL of a deal. Any ideas or recommendations as to what motor i should put in? I honestly was looking at doing a LS1 swap (dont shoot me!) just because ive heard that its a really easy swap and the motor is powerful (350hp) and relatively cheap. also very reliable.

Thanks

haha thanks a lot! and definitely theres alot more canadians on here than i was expecting! which is good for parts, one thing my friends keep trying to drill into my head before i go grab this FD this weekend is that "rx7 parts are the most expensive parts out of most tuner cars"

Welcome. Nice to see more canucks here, I'm going to be doing an FD engine swap in my first gen, I found the cost pretty cheap and around 280hp stock. Personally i keep it rotary but i have had thoughts of putting a 2jzgtte in my rx8 or my 7, but ive decided to keep them rotary, But whatever you choose be sure to start a build thread with lots of pics.
